The Bible Society in Israel is grateful for the prayers and encouragement of so many, and requests further prayer for the court case regarding their bookshop in Tel Aviv.
The property owner has accused the Bible Society of missionary activity and violations of the rental agreement, in an attempt to overturn their protected status as tenants and evict them from the premises.
At a hearing on 31 January, two representatives from the Bible Society gave evidence. The director of the Bible Society in Israel, Victor Kallisher, said, “We felt that the Lord was with us and guided us. We trust Him for the next stage and all the case.”
The next hearing is scheduled for 5 March, with the final verdict likely to be delivered several weeks later.
