Iranian Christians request prayer for four Iranian Christian converts who have been detained in Ahvaz since 2 December.
About thirteen plain-clothed Revolutionary Guards conducted raids on four homes on the morning of 2 December, arresting Shima Zanganeh (27), Shokoofeh Zanganeh (30), Farzad Behzadi (30) and Abdollah Yousefi (34), confiscating their books, phones and computers. Those arrested were taken for interrogation.
Shima and Shokoofeh, who are sisters, were taken to Amanayeh security offices in Ahvaz. There are reports that they were physically assaulted during interrogation. They were transferred to Sepidar Prison in Ahvaz on Wednesday, 12 December. A judge has set very high bail conditions of 500 million Toman (about $44,000) each.
The present whereabouts of Farzad and Abdollah remain unknown.
