Iranian Christians request prayer as many Christian converts are being summoned to intelligence offices and put under pressure to abstain from Christian fellowship.
Since the end of January, Iranian intelligence officials in Karaj have summoned about a dozen Christian converts for interrogation, putting pressure on them to promise not to meet with other Christians, even in private homes.
Until now, those summoned have refused to comply with the demands of the security officials. It is expected more Christian converts will face the same pressure in the coming days.
Please pray that:
- Those summoned, interrogated and pressured will have the faith and courage to stand firm for the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
- God’s love will cast out fear
- The security officials will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel and come to a point of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus
